There were 458 students enrolled in Frost ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.1% of them were boys, and 48.9% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 55% of the Frost ISD total enrollment.

Frost ISD roughly covers schools within Navarro County with its main office in Frost.

Among the three schools in Frost ISD, Frost High School recorded the highest enrollment of 240 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
