Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 59.2% of Blooming Grove ISD schools' student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 535 white students enrolled in Blooming Grove ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Blooming Grove ISD schools welcomed 903 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 59.2% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Blooming Grove ISD roughly covers schools within Navarro County and has a main office in Blooming Grove.

Among the three schools in Blooming Grove ISD schools, Blooming Grove Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 271 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
