There were 6,006 students enrolled in Corsicana ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.9% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.6% of them were boys, and 48.4% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 52.9% of the Corsicana ISD total enrollment.

Corsicana ISD roughly covers schools within Navarro County with its main office in Corsicana.

Among the eight schools in Corsicana ISD, Corsicana High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,761 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
