City of Murchison issued the following announcement on Sept. 17
The City of Murchison is now accepting applications for a part time maintenance person. Must have a clean driving record, able to lift up to 50lbs, drug free, able to be on call for emergencies as needed, be good with tools and backhoe experience a plus. Scope of job includes, but not limited to, general vehicle maintenance, weed eating, small tree trimming, inventory and other various jobs at the discretion of the city.
There are no city benefits available, up to 29 hours weekly at $17.00 per hour. An application can be obtained at City Hall located at 9540 FM 773, Murchison, TX. 75778. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. Applications can be submitted by mail at the given address, in person or by e-mail at murchisontx@earthlink.net. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
