City of Moore Station recently issued the following announcement.
Road Closings - Moore War Run 2021
Moore War 5k Run
Saturday, August 28th starting at 7:30 am - 5K run and walk
Road Closures / Expected Delays:
Main and Eastern will begin to close shortly after 0700 hours in preparation for the event. The remaining streets will begin to close just prior to the start of the run (7:30 AM), with Eastern Avenue closing from Moore Highschool to SE 19th Street. Intersections will close upon the approach of the lead runners along the travel route and will reopen immediately proceeding with the final runners passing through them.
Travel Route: (Map Attached)
The run starts at 7:30 am on Eastern Avenue at Moore High School and travels South to 19th street, West on 19th, and North on Broadway, concluding in Old Town Moore just north at Main and Broadway Avenue.
