City of Murchison issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
In an continued effort to update and modernize our water system, water will be shut off citywide tonight starting around 11 PM to replace valves on our water tanks. This process will take about 5 hours and once completed will result in low pressure and possibly discolored water for a period of time on Thursday. Our water folks will be on-hand all day tomorrow specifically prepared to flush lines following the process.
