Census Bureau: 77.6% of people in Limestone County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 22,252 citizens living in Limestone County in 2021, 77.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 17,276 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 8,918 were male, constituting 51.6%, and 8,358 were female, making up 48.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Limestone County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
