306 gifted and talented students were taught in Anderson County schools in the 2021-2022 school year

Test 01

Anderson County schools enrolled 306 students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2021-2022 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is a 2% increase over the previous school year.

Of the 8,170 students enrolled in Anderson County schools, 3.7% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

Anderson County enrolled the 95th highest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
