Navarro freshman outside hitter Hanna Tylska was selected Tuesday to VolleyballMag.com's NJCAA Division I All-American team.
Tylska, a multiple statistical category leader in D-I Volleyball last fall, was among 12 selected to the mythical team that featured two other Region XIV representatives -- middle hitter Lizanyela Lopez of NJCAA Tournament qualifier Trinity Valley, and her coach, Aleah Hayes.
Tylska, who sparked coach Ariel Apolinario's Bulldogs to a 28-7 season, led the NJCAA in per-set categories for kills (5.19), service aces (1.06), and points (6.4). The service-ace leader with 110, Tylska totaled 540 kills, 330 digs and 670 points during 2022.
Lopez made 137 blocks and hit .352 with 398 kills for the Cardinals, which finished eighth nationally with a 31-11 record under Hayes, who chosen as national coach of the year.
