______
HON. BENNIE G. THOMPSON
of mississippi
in the house of representatives
Friday, August 12, 2022
Mr. THOMPSON of Mississippi. Madam Speaker, I rise today to honor the family legacy of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Louella Williams' family tree.
The recorded history of Doc and Rebecca Williams and Frank and Louella Williams, sons, and daughters of Mississippi soil with roots in Yazoo County emanates from the Phillip Plantation, now known as the Phillip Farm, located in Yazoo County in Mississippi's Second Congressional District. Their descendants, Tommie, ``Doc James, Frank, Jr., Magnolia, Randolph, Laura, Lillie, and Adam (A.C.) and their sons and daughters have borne fruit up to the 7th generation of progeny with Mississippi ties.
The Williams Family descendants from Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas gathered in Washington, D.C., our Nation's Capital, to celebrate family and history in the month of July 2022.
Madam Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring the family legacy of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Louella Williams.
