Census Bureau reports Anderson County population was 57,917 in 2020

Anderson County had a population of 57,917 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Central Texas News.

The median age was 40, with 38.8 percent of the total population being female and 61.2 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 28,635,442.
