Next Meeting of the SENATE

Senate Chamber

Program for Tuesday: Senate will continue consideration of the nomination of Jia M. Cobb, of Virgina, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.

At approximately 11 a.m., Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the nominations of Jia M. Cobb, of Virgina, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, Karen McGlashan Williams, to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, and Patricia Tolliver Giles, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.

At 2:30 p.m., Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the nominations of Michael S. Nachmanoff, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Sarala Vidya Nagala, to be United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut.

(Senate will recess following the vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Patricia Tolliver Giles until 2:15 p.m. for their respective party conferences.)
