Mr. PERLMUTTER. Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize and celebrate Salud Family Health Centers on their 51st anniversary.
Salud Family Health Centers have been an integral part of the community for the past 51 years. Originally known as, ``Plan de Salud del Valle'', or ``the health plan of the valley'', they began as healthcare providers to field workers in Fort Lupton, Colo. Over the years, they have grown significantly, opening numerous locations across the front range and Denver metro region. Since 1970, Salud's commitment to people has remained their top priority. As a non-profit, Salud's goal is to provide healthcare to those in the community that would not otherwise have access to affordable, quality health services. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the service provided by Salud has been invaluable for our community and my heartfelt appreciation goes to all the Salud staff and healthcare workers for taking such good care of our community during this difficult time.
Congratulations to Salud Family Health Centers for 51 fantastic years, and I thank them for their numerous contributions to our community and state. We are lucky to have them in our community and wish them the best of luck in the coming years.
