Navarro County ranked 158th among counties in Texas by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Navarro County residents was $24,951 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 17,338 households with a population of 48,995.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Rockwall County with $46,518 per year after adjusting for inflation – $21,567 more than Navarro County. It had 33,032 households with a population of 97,175.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Starr County with $14,038 per year after adjusting for inflation – $10,913 less than Navarro County. It had 16,188 households with a population of 64,078.
